“Now and Then” – DivaFest 2016


Now and Then, was one of four short plays offered for the first time by DivaFest as one program under the new category “Short Plays by Divas.” The 6th Annual DivaFest took place April 1 – April 10 at IndyFringe’s Indy Eleven Theatre in downtown Indianapolis.

Short Plays by Divas: Four women. Four different voices. Stories that capture the joy, angst and the unexpected in the extraordinary everyday experiences of four captivating characters.

Now and Then centers on Kate who longs for a simpler life, but will meeting Vivica change her opinion that the grass is greener on the other side?

“Mark Ruffalo Must Die” by Stacy Post

Director and Cast:

Kaylee Good headshotKAYLEE SPIVEY GOOD (DIRECTOR) Kaylee is the Artistic Director of Khaos Company Theatre (KCT). Kaylee has been working professionally in theatre since graduating from Indiana University in 2011. She has appeared in theatre and film in Indiana and Chicago.



Bridgette Richards headshotBRIDGETTE RICHARDSON (KATE) Bridgette is a Butler Theatre graduate, a LAMDA alumna from London, and a recent returnee from Edinburgh, Scotland where she obtained her MSc in Creative Writing. She is thrilled to be a part of DivaFest this year! You could have seen her in “Titus Andronicus” (EclecticPond), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Edinburgh Festival Fringe), Different Trains (Indy Fringe 2014), and most recently “Leyenda” (in English or Spanish) at the Phoenix Theater.


Susan Galey Jones headshotSUSAN GALEY JONES (VIVICA) Susan is, first, a disciple of Christ, wife of Captain Michael Jones, homeschooling mom of two precocious boys and vocalist for rock cover band, Circuit Thursday. Having earned her theatre degree from Butler University eons ago, Susan is grateful to yet again be involved in new theatre works.
